Hello, All, It seems like Phil Joel, ex bass player of the Newsboys, is making his comeback. He has recently started a new band called Zealand. This is an appropriate band title because Mr. Joel is a New Zealand native. Zealand has been said to be a worship band. Currently, Phil Joel and his band mates--secret though they may be--are working on a new album and it will be released sometime in Summer 2014.

Here are some pictures that I took at Winter Jam 2014. I decided it would be more convenient for you guys to see them if they were posted here. This is an image of Colton Dixon. He is an artist that got his "start" on American Idol.  This is Nikita, the lead singer, of the all brother band Everfound. Man, did they rock!  This is a picture of the crazy woman known as Plumb. She reminded me a bit of an Alice in Wonderland character during her set due to her attitude and clothing style. (She wore a hat in the beginning of her performance.) Russ Lee from Newsong interacting with the crowd. Yes, I know this is not a band singing or playing, but this dude was invited onstage during Newsong to paint this amazing picture. The painting was done during Newsong's performance of "Arise My Love."  Hello, everyone,    It's official, as of January 3, Winter Jam 2014 is in full swing! The line up for this year is as follows: Derek Minor, Love & the Outcome, Everfound, Colton Dixon, Plumb, Tenth Avenue North, Lecrae, Thousand Foot Krutch, Newsong, and the Newsboys. The speaker for this year is Nick Hall. I had the pleasure of going already this year, and I must say it was absolutely AMAZING!!!! Check out photos I took at the concert: Flickr .           Hello, my dearest readers,   I have some rather different news to present to you tonight. Skillet is working on a music video to, drum roll please, "Not Gonna Die Tonight" ! There has not been talk yet of a release date yet, but the band has so kindly allowed a look at the video through some pictures. And yes, that is Korey Cooper with the blonde, spiky hair! I find that this is quite a contrast to her long black hair with blue streaks, but it is an interesting look. Oh, well. I shall leave you all to ponder these new thoughts.     In a breaking news story....I'm just kidding, but it really is serious. Solomon Olds aka Soul Glow Activatur has given up his role as lead singer for Family Force Five. The new lead singer is his brother Jacob Olds who is known as Crouton. Also the band has received a new member Teddy Boldt otherwise known as Hollywood. He will be the band's drummer. Soul Glow left to pursue new creative opportunities. Below you can watch his farewell video and read what the band has to say.  This is what the band said about the whole event on their blog.
